Weekend Events in 2021
April 15th camping season begins weather permitting all site will be open for recreational camping.
May 28th-31st. Memorial day weekend 3 day minimum stay . Veterans’ memorial event Flag raising and tribute to our Veterans at 10:00 am on Saturday to start off the weekend Memorial Day. 2-day Bags tournament Saturday and Sunday register in the lodge by 9am. Special kids craft in the lodge on Saturday time TBD.
July 2nd – 5th, July 4th celebration, 3 Day minimum reservation required. Friday night movie in the park! Bags tournament Saturday time TBD. Special kids craft in the lodge during the bags tournament. Golf cart parade on Saturday 2 pm; decorate your carts and meet at the lodge for line up at 1:45 pm, vote for your favorite decorated golf cart in the lodge following the parade. Fireworks Saturday night at dark.
Christmas in July: July 23rd-24th, Pictures with Santa Saturday July 25th in the lodge at 10:00 am, Bag tournament in park time TBD. Tour of lights in the park, stroll through the campground and see the decorations then vote for best decorations in the lodge time: dusk. Operation Red Kettle donations for the Salvation Army Fundraiser. Christmas themed kids craft in the lodge after pictures with Santa. Movie in the park: Elf… time to be determined.
Hawaiian Weekend date to be determined, Hawaiian costume theme party with karaoke in the lodge Friday at 7:00 pm. Luau on the island Saturday, time to be determined. Operation Backpack Fundraiser; bring a backpack filled with school supplies for children in need in surrounding area school districts, turn it in to the lodge. All kids get a free lei to have upon arrival.
September 3rd -5th Labor day Weekend, 3-day minimum reservation required. Make a wish fundraiser celebration all weekend. Bags tournament both Saturday and Sunday. Wine wall Saturday $10 for a bottle of wine. Live music Friday night in the park, time TBD. Movie in the park Sunday night starting at dark. Live and silent auction on Saturday afternoon. Many more special events to be added so please stay tuned for updates!
October 2nd -3rd Chili and Soup Cook-Off, Made from scratch over the open fire. Register in the lodge, Free to enter. Tasting tickets can be purchased in the lodge for $5.00, show your ticket to sites for tastings. Tastings will be at the campsites of competitors; numbers will be posted at the edge off all sites competing. Tasting starts at 5:00 pm. Voting for “Best of” will be in the lodge immediately following the tasting, the winner(s) will win the money from the tickets purchased.
October 8th-9th Campground clean-up and last official camping weekend of the season
October 15th official closing day for the season
